Do I need to download an app from the App Store?
No! The DriveTDX App is a modern Progressive Web App (PWA). It runs directly in your mobile browser (Safari, Chrome) with zero app store downloads required. You can tap “Add to Home Screen” to launch it in fullscreen just like a native app.
Does the gate pass work without cellular signal?
Yes. Your digital QR speed pass and event wristband voucher are automatically saved to your phone's local cache upon registration. Even at remote tracks with congested cellular towers, your pass scans instantly at 6:00 AM.
How do I link my MPI Driver ID?
Inside the DriveTDX App under your Driver Profile, simply enter your free MPI ID (e.g. hpde.app/id/yourname). Once linked, any verified solo check-rides or instructor evaluations at DriveTDX can be published to your permanent HPDE.app credential.
Can other track organizers see my DriveTDX tire pressures and notes?
No. Your setup data, tire pressures, and instructor notes remain private to you. Only verified accreditation badges (such as solo sign-offs and helmet expiration dates) are shared across participating clubs when you choose to connect your MPI profile.
